Decide what moves, what stays and what dies.

A workload-by-workload cloud plan built on cost, risk and value, not on which provider gave the best conference.

Let's Build Together

One call with a senior engineer. A straight answer on what it would take.

Where you are. Where you’ll be.

You need this if

  • You're 'cloud first' but still not sure what that means
  • A data-center lease or hardware refresh is coming up
  • Your cloud bill rose and the business case never got revisited

What changes for your business

  • A cloud plan with a business case, not a slogan
  • Applications retired instead of migrated, where they should be
  • Provider choice based on your workloads, not marketing

What we hand over

  1. Application portfolio assessment and disposition (6 Rs)
  2. Total cost of ownership model, current vs. target
  3. Target architecture and landing-zone design
  4. Sequenced migration roadmap

What it is

A cloud strategy decides, application by application, what moves to the cloud, what is rebuilt, replaced with SaaS, kept on-premises or switched off, and in what order. It ties each choice to run cost and business value, which is the step most migrations skipped when their bills rose.

Lift-everything strategies are why many cloud bills doubled. We assess each application on business value, technical fit and true run cost, then assign it a path: rehost, refactor, replace with SaaS, keep on-premises or retire. You end with a sequenced plan, a landing-zone design and a business case finance will sign.

Why now
29% of IaaS and PaaS spend is wasted, the first rise in five years. Flexera State of the Cloud, 2026 (opens in a new tab)

How it runs

  1. 01

    Diagnose

    Typically 2–4 weeks

We map the problem, your data and your systems, and agree the one number that defines success.

  2. 02

    Prove

    Typically 4–8 weeks

A working pilot on your real data, measured against that number. Not a slide demo.

  3. 03

    Ship

    Scoped to the outcome

Production build with security, monitoring, cost controls and documentation included, not upsold.

  4. 04

    Run

    Ongoing, optional

We operate what we built against clear service levels, or train your team to. Your call. No lock-in.

Questions you’ll ask

Should everything move to the cloud?
No. Lift-everything strategies are a big reason cloud bills doubled. Some workloads are cheaper on-premises, some should be replaced by SaaS, and some should simply be retired. The strategy assigns each application its own path.
What is a landing zone?
The pre-built foundation every workload lands on: account structure, networking, identity, security guardrails, logging and cost allocation. Getting it right first is what keeps a migration secure and its costs traceable.
Can you revisit a cloud business case that didn't work out?
Yes, and it's common. We compare what was promised with actual run costs, find where the gap comes from, usually overprovisioning or unmodernized workloads, and reset the plan with numbers finance can track.
