Architecture decisions you won't regret in three years.
Target architecture, platform choices and build-versus-buy decisions grounded in cost and capability.
One call with a senior engineer. A straight answer on what it would take.

Where you are. Where you’ll be.
You need this if
- Every team picks its own tools
- A major platform decision is due this year
- Your architecture can't support the AI plans being discussed
What changes for your business
- A target architecture everyone builds toward
- Lower total cost through rationalized platforms
- Documented reasoning behind big technology bets
What we hand over
- Architecture assessment and target state
- Build-versus-buy and vendor evaluations
- Application and platform rationalization plan
- Architecture decision records and principles
What it is
IT strategy and architecture advisory sets the target shape of a company's technology: platforms, integration patterns, data and security foundations, and the principles for future choices. Its most valuable output is good decisions on expensive, long-lived platform commitments, made with total cost and lock-in in view.
Platform choices made today become constraints for a decade. We assess your current architecture, define a target state that supports your strategy and AI ambitions, compare options on total cost and lock-in risk, and give you decision records your teams can follow.

How it runs
- 01
Diagnose
Typically 2–4 weeksWe map the problem, your data and your systems, and agree the one number that defines success.
- 02
Prove
Typically 4–8 weeksA working pilot on your real data, measured against that number. Not a slide demo.
- 03
Ship
Scoped to the outcomeProduction build with security, monitoring, cost controls and documentation included, not upsold.
- 04
Run
Ongoing, optionalWe operate what we built against clear service levels, or train your team to. Your call. No lock-in.
Questions you’ll ask
- What is an architecture decision record?
- A short document capturing a significant technical decision: the context, the options considered, the choice and its consequences. It stops the same debates recurring and tells new team members why things are built the way they are.
- How do you assess lock-in risk?
- By looking at what it would take to leave: data portability, proprietary interfaces, contract terms, skills and the cost of rebuilding integrations. Some lock-in is worth accepting; it should be a decision, not a surprise.
- Can our architecture support our AI plans?
- The assessment answers exactly that: whether your data, integration, security and infrastructure foundations can carry the AI use cases on the roadmap, and what has to change first.
